Doctor Dave Dorroh on Dental Emergencies
We always have room for emergency. We do whatever we can to get somebody in. If somebody has a toothache and they call and they’re in pain, we try to see them the same day.
Most of the time, I would say 99 percent of the time, that happens. It may be just an injection and an antibiotic or a referral that we will get them in the same day. If they need a root canal and something that I’m not able to handle, we’ll connect them with an endodontist.
If they need an oral surgeon and they don’t, let’s say for example, they’re fearful and they want to be sedated, we will hook them up with an oral surgeon that day. That’s very common. If somebody has a problem, we try and get them in the same day.
As best we can, we try and get them in the same day.

I cannot put into words how incredibly grateful I am to have found Dr. Dorroh, and his incredible staff! I presented to this office late on a Monday with a major dilemma. I was experiencing severe tooth pain and was due to travel for my cousins wedding in less than 72 hours. The level of care that I received here was stark in comparison to my previous experience elsewhere. With almost no notice, Dr. Dorroh carved out the time to see me late in the evening. During our visit, he identified a molar that needed an extraction, and said he could fit me in the following day. Out of compassion for my pain, he offered to numb my mouth to provide me a few hours of relief for the night. Afterwards, I went to pay and was told it was no charge.
